Let us join together in lifting up ### in prayer, seeking God's divine intervention and healing touch.
Firstly, we acknowledge that it is by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB:
"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
And in Acts 4:12 WEB:
"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our friend ###. We thank You, Lord, for Your healing power and Your grace that is sufficient for us.
Father, we pray for ###'s health as he prepares for his surgery on January ###, 20##. We ask that You strengthen his body, Lord, and protect him from any harm or infection. Guide the hands of the surgeons, Lord, and give them wisdom and skill. We pray for a successful surgery, Father, and a quick recovery.
We also pray for ###'s spiritual health, Lord. We pray with the apostle John as in 3 John 1:2 WEB that ### may be in health even as his soul prospers. We ask that You draw ### closer to You, Lord, and that he may know Your love and peace that surpasses all understanding. We pray that Your will be done in ###'s life, Father, and that he may be a testimony of Your goodness and grace.
We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ and for His sake. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage ### to trust in the Lord and lean not on his own understanding. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB:
"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
