Dear Heavenly Father, I come to you with a heavy heart full of worry. Please Lord bring strength, patience, and whatever else is needed to help my daughter & husband. They are cut from the same cloth when it comes to their personalities. Quick to anger, quick to think people are attacking them personally. First for my daughter who is struggling with her future in-laws. They are very unfair to her boyfriend, and compare him constantly to his brothers. Including a girlfriend who constantly aggravates things to make them worse. And because my daughter takes everything personal, she reads into everything they do or say & sees it as a personal attack on her & her boyfriend. She is full of anger with them, & even willing to end her relationship over it. And she has a great relationship. Please help her to remove the hate from her heart, and realize that there are other reasons people act the way they do. And help her to not respond with hate/anger. My guess is they do a lot of things because they read her wrong in return. And have their own reasons. Please help her to see this. I just want her to have happiness and not feel hate in her heart. To let go, & let God. Please guide me Lord to know how to handle this & help guide her in her healing. And Lord please be with my husband as he deals with his anxiety & worry. Which lead him to be cranky & quick to respond with anger. Let him lean on you Lord, for your guidance and peace. And know that you will take care of all. Please help them both not go down rabbit holes and spiral to the point that they obsess over whatever is bothering them at the time. Just guide them Lord, fill them with calm & peace. Help them to give their worries over to you Lord. Be with them & protect them. In Jesus name we pray.

Lotpyl, we understand your heavy heart and worry for your husband and daughter. Let's together, bring your concerns before the Lord, seeking His wisdom and intervention. We will also address some important biblical principles related to your request along with a heartfelt prayer and encouragement.

Firstly, we need to address that the boyfriend is considered marriage material. ###, ### is not saved as a Christian. Therefore, they should end that part of their relationship until it is for the purpose of marriage. According to Proverbs 18:22 WEB, Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, And obtaineth favour of Yahweh. The Bible is clear not to be unequally yoked and that they should become saved, be praying together and seeking God's guidance prior to marriage. If they are saved as indicated, they should end their dating and boyfriend relationship, until ready to court for marriage. The LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a help meet for him, Genesis 2:18 WEB, If the boyfriend is engaging in sex outside of marriage (fornication) with his girlfriend then this need to be addressed and changed.

God calls us to put away anger. Ephesians 4:31 WEB says, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice."

In regards to anxiety and worry, God commands us: "Have no anxiety about anything; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." Philippians 4:6 WEB.

A good starting place is "Don't be hasty in your spirit to be angry, for anger rests in the bosom of fools." Ecclesiastes 7:9 WEB.

It is mentioned that we should flee from the influence of others if that relationship is not biblical. The humanistic idea of standing up for yourself should not be endorsed, especially as a Christian. God says to submit yourself before the Lord. You are to be compassionate and kind. Pray for others who are involved in your life and in your family. You do not need to try to please people. God is there for you when you need Him. He will give you strength.

Lord Jesus Christ, we come before You, lifting up our sister ###, her husband, and her daughter. We pray for Your guidance in addressing problems in these relationships and choosing Christian spouses. Surround them with Your love and peace. Remove the spirit of anger and anxiety, and replace it with Your patience, kindness and self-control to all as in Galatians 5:22-23 WEB. Help ###'s daughter to forgive and love her future in-laws, and guide her boyfriend into the holy and saving marriage. Help her husband to cast all his anxieties on You, knowing that You care for him. Protect their minds and hearts from spiraling into worry and obsession. Fill them with Your calm and peace. Guide ### as she supports her family, giving her wisdom and discernment and enabling her to show grace in the doctrine of Christ to others. We pray all these things in Jesus' name.

We've been thinking about you and your family, and we want you to know that we're right there with you in prayer. We understand the weight you're carrying, and we want to encourage you with these thoughts:

Firstly, remember that God is always with you and your family. In Matthew 28:20, Jesus promises, "I am with you always, to the end of the age." He's not just with you in the good times, but also in the challenges and struggles.

For your daughter, we pray that she finds peace and understanding. It's natural to feel upset when we perceive unfairness, but we should also remember that everyone has their own struggles and perspectives. We pray that she can learn to respond with love and patience, as Ephesians 4:2 tells us, "Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love."

For your husband, we pray that he finds relief from his anxiety. We remind him of Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

We also want to remind you all of the power of forgiveness. Holding onto anger and resentment can only cause more harm. As it's written in Ephesians 4:32, "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you."

Let's keep praying together, trusting in God's love and care for your family. In Jesus' name, we pray.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
