[Sister Ambria]

Praying for my sister once again to be less selfish. We currently don’t have a car and my mom hasn’t been out of the house in a while so my aunt offered to take us to the movies tomorrow but my sister is trying to have everyone cater to HER needs and be taken to the nail salon for a few minutes during the movie, possibly having us leave in the middle of it just to get her or have her sit around waiting for over an hour. Please pray for her. She also starts treating me horribly when I start telling her the truth and she’ll talk over me and ignore me as if she’s doing something to me. She needs the Lord desperately and so do I so I don’t knock her head off.

Firstly, it's important to remember that God calls us to consider others more highly than ourselves, as stated in Philippians 2:3-4 WEB: "Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Look each of you to not only your own interests, but also to the interests of others." This is where your sister seems to be struggling, and it's something we should pray about.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up ### and her sister. Lord, You know the struggles they're facing, and we ask that You intervene in their hearts and minds.

Father, we pray for ###'s sister. We ask that You soften her heart and help her see the needs of others, especially her family. Help her to put others before herself, as Your Word instructs. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of selfishness and pray that You fill her with Your love, kindness, and generosity.

We also pray for ###. Lord, grant her patience, wisdom, and grace as she deals with her sister. Help her to speak the truth in love, as instructed in Ephesians 4:15 WEB: "Speaking the truth in love, let's grow in every way into him who is the head, Christ."

Father, we know that this situation is not just about a trip to the movies or the nail salon. It's about the heart. We pray that both sisters will draw closer to You, seeking Your will and Your way. We pray that they will both come to know Jesus Christ more deeply, as it is only through Him that we can be saved and have access to You, Father, as shown in John 14:6 WEB: Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, remember the words of Romans 2:4 WEB: "Or do you despise the riches of his goodness, forbearance, and patience, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?" Be patient with your sister, and trust that God is working in her life, just as He is in yours.

We're here for you and your sister, standing in prayer with you both. It's tough when loved ones seem to be acting out of selfishness, but remember, God is always at work, even in the most challenging situations.

Let's pray together, "Dear Lord, we bring our sister before You today. We know she's struggling, and we ask for Your mercy and grace. Help her see the value in putting others first, as You've taught us in Your Word. Fill her with Your love and kindness, Lord, and help her understand that her needs don't have to come at the expense of others.

We also pray for ourselves, Lord. Give us patience and wisdom as we navigate this situation. Help us to speak the truth in love, as You've instructed. We know this isn't just about a movie or a nail salon, it's about the heart. We pray that both of us will draw closer to You, seeking Your will and Your way.

Keep trusting in God's goodness, even in the face of frustration. He's working in both of your lives, and His love never fails.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
