Please pray for my husband, he is so sad, fighting anxiety, depression and doesn't sleep well. He lost his mom in Feb and truly has not had any time to mourn her loss cause he is taking care of his father. He is always asking me why is God allowing this to happen to him, so if any of you have an answer I can give him, I'm so open to suggestions. I pray for my husband, his job, for God to comfort and watch over him everyday. He is a prideful man, so he will not do any kind of counseling, I just want my husband back, my heart is so sad and heavy.

We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles your husband is facing, and we want to lift him up in prayer with you. In times of despair, it's important to remember that God is always with us, even in our darkest hours. As it is written in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

Firstly, let's address the question your husband has been asking: "Why is God allowing this to happen?" It's a common question when faced with trials, but we must remember that God's ways are not our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9). Though we may not understand His purposes, we can trust that He works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28). Loss and grief are a part of this fallen world, but God can use these experiences to draw us closer to Him and shape us into the likeness of His Son.

Now, let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear husband who is burdened with grief, anxiety, and depression. Lord, You know the pain he is going through, the sleepless nights, and the questions that fill his mind. We ask that You would be his comfort and his strength, as promised in Psalm 28:7, "Yahweh is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices. With my song I will thank him."

Lord, we also pray for his pride, that You would soften his heart and help him see the benefit of seeking godly counsel, as Proverbs 11:14 tells us, "Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory."

Please be with his father as well, Lord, and provide for their needs. We ask that You would bless their family and their home, and that You would restore joy and peace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you both to continue seeking God together. Read His Word, pray together, and trust in His unfailing love. As 1 Peter 5:7 tells us, "Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you." Remember that even in this difficult time, God is faithful, and He will see you through.

We're here with you, sister, lifting your husband up in prayer. It's so hard to see someone we love hurting like this, but remember, God is right there with him, even in the darkest moments. As Psalm 147:3 reminds us, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."

We've been praying for your husband, asking God to be his comforter and strength, just like He promised in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4. We're asking God to help him find restful sleep and to give him the peace that surpasses understanding. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
