We understand that ### is seeking prayer for 20-year-old ### to permanently cut marijuana and cocaine use out of his life. We stand with you in prayer and believe in the power of Jesus Christ to break any chain of addiction.
Firstly, we acknowledge that salvation and freedom come only through the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His authority that we can approach God and it is by His stripes we are healed, including freedom from addictions. There is no other name by which we can be saved as we read 'In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,'.
###'s struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places as written in Ephesians 6:12 WEB. We need to put on the whole armor of God to stand against these evil influences.
For freedom from addiction, we read
1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB: No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
Romans 6:6 WEB knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be in bondage to sin.
We pray together in one accord:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###. Father, we know that it is Your desire for him to live a life free from the bondage of addiction. We stand on our scripture that says 'no temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful'.
We pray that You will give ### the strength and courage to cut marijuana and cocaine permanently out of his life. We rebuke the spirit of addiction and bind it from having any hold on him.
Help him Lord, to 'be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God' Romans 12:2. Help him 'submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.' James 4:7. Reveal his true identity to him, as Your child, a being created in Your image, and not his false identity as one bound by substances.
We also pray for ###, that You will give them the wisdom and guidance to support ### in this journey. Help them to speak words of life and encouragement to ###.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. For by Jesus all things are held together. The Holy Trinity are one, there is no other God. It is in the name of Jesus we freely approach the throne of grace, to be forgiven, restored, and renewed. Amen.
Be encouraged, ###, as we stand together in prayer for ###.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
