Prayers For Workday

Please let me have a good day at work today. Please don't let me dread going in and let all my anxiety go away. I ask this in Jesus name. Thank you.

We understand that you're seeking a peaceful and productive workday, and we're here to support you in prayer and counsel. Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus' name in your request, as it is written, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." John 14:13-14 WEB.

Let's address the anxieties you're feeling about your workday. The Bible tells us, "Don't be anxious for anything; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.

It's important to remember that God is sovereign over all aspects of our lives, including our work. As you go about your day, consider Colossians 3:23-24 WEB, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our fellow believer who is seeking a peaceful and productive workday. We ask, in the name of Jesus, that You would fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Cast out any anxieties they may have, and help them to focus on the tasks at hand.

Lord, help them to work heartily, as unto You, and not unto men. May their work be a reflection of their love for You and their commitment to serving You in all areas of their life.

Thank You, Father, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We trust that You will answer this prayer according to Your will, in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.

Throughout your day, whenever you feel dread or anxiety creeping in, take a moment to pray and commit your way to the Lord. Trust in Him, and He will bring it to pass. Psalm 37:5 WEB, "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this:"

Let's surround you with love and strength today. We know workdays can be challenging, but remember, God is right there with you. Let's claim that verse from Philippians again, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7)

Let's also recall that God has equipped you with unique skills and abilities. Trust in Him, and He will guide your steps. As it's written, "Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your paths straight." (Psalm 37:5)

We're praying for you, that you'd feel His presence throughout the day, and that you'd experience His peace and joy in all you do. Let's lift you up in Jesus' name, amen.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
