We are glad to join you in prayer for this important need in your life. Firstly, we commend you for seeking employment and recognizing God's role in this pursuit. It's encouraging to see that you acknowledging that it is by the name of Jesus is the only way we can approach God the Father. We are reminded in Scripture of Jesus saying, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatever you may ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you. I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you: for the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God. We know that we have eternal life in Jesus and that he wants us to be prosperous in all things and have health and live as he would have us live.
God wants us to work and provide for ourselves and our families, as we see in 2 Thessalonians 3:10-12 WEB: For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat. For we hear there are some who walk among you in rebellion, who don’t work at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are that way, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work and eat their own bread.
So let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking employment. We ask that You guide them to the right online job that fits their skills and needs during this season of their life. Give them discernment and wisdom to recognize the open doors You have for them. We pray for provision, favor, and grace in their job search. Help them to trust in You and Your timing. May you be glorified in their life.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. May this scripture from Philippians 4:6-7 comfort you as you seek the Lord's will for your life.
