We understand that you're going through a challenging time at work, and we want you to know that God cares about every aspect of your life, including your career. We appreciate that you included Jesus's name in this prayer. Firstly, let's address the issue of toxic work environments and dread.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Lord, we bring before You our brother who is facing a difficult time at his workplace. He feels drained and dreads going to work due to a toxic environment and a senior who seems to be against him. Father, we pray for Your guidance in this situation. Give him wisdom to discern Your will and the strength to endure this trial. If it is Your will for him to transfer to another hospital, open the doors and smooth the path. If You want him to stay, give him the grace and courage to face each day. We pray for a peaceful work environment and kind seniors who will support and encourage him.
Remember, beloved, it is important to seek God's will in all situations. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB:
Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
Also, consider what the Apostle Paul says in Colossians 3:23-24 WEB:
It is the Lord Christ whom you serve. For he who does wrong will receive again for the wrong that he has done, and there is no partiality.
Therefore, it is not just about finding a better workplace but also about serving God faithfully wherever you are. God sees your struggles and He cares. He can turn this situation around for your good and His glory.
In dealing with difficult people, Jesus tells us in Matthew 5:44 WEB:
But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,
Pray for the senior who seems to be against you. Ask God to bless them and change their heart. This may not be easy, but with God's grace, you can do it.
Lastly, remember that God is faithful. He has promised never to leave you nor forsake you. He is with you in this trial, and He will see you through.
We will continue to pray for you, trusting that God will work everything out for your good because you love Him and you are called according to His purpose.
It is only in the name of Jesus Christ we can approach and ask of God. Only Jesus reconciles God to us and us to God. Only Jesus. This is the most important thing that can be said.
