Prayers For Work

I'm asking for continued prayers for work. I really would like for my coworkers who have been mean spirited and have food shamed me to stop hurting me that way. Let me have a good day at work and let me be productive. Thank you.

Osvelis, we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your workplace situation. We are reminded of the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:44, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you," and in 1 Peter 2:17, "Honor all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king."

Firstly, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His name that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Let us then approach God's throne of grace with confidence in Jesus' name.

We pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### and their workplace situation. Lord, we ask for Your intervention, that the mean-spirited actions and food shaming from their coworkers would cease. Help ### to have a good and productive day at work, filled with Your peace and strength.

Lord, we also pray for ###'s coworkers. We ask that You would soften their hearts and help them to see the harm their actions are causing. We pray that they would turn from their hurtful behavior and instead demonstrate kindness and respect.

Father, help ### to love and pray for their coworkers, even as they face this trial. Give them the grace to respond with kindness and the strength to endure. In all things, help ### to honor You and be a light for You in their workplace.

We ask all these things in Jesus' name, according to Your good and perfect will. Amen.

###, continue to trust in God and His goodness. Remember that He is with you and will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). As you face this trial, cling to the promise in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Keep loving and praying for your coworkers, and trust that God is working in their hearts and in your situation.
