Prayers For Work

I'm asking for continued prayers for work. I really would like for my coworkers who have been mean spirited and have food shamed me to stop hurting me that way. Let me have a good day at work and let me be productive. Thank you.

Osvelis, we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your workplace situation. We are reminded of the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:44, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you," and in 1 Peter 2:17, "Honor all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king."

Firstly, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His name that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Let us then approach God's throne of grace with confidence in Jesus' name.

We pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Osvelis and their workplace situation. Lord, we ask for Your intervention, that the mean-spirited actions and food shaming from their coworkers would cease. Help Osvelis to have a good and productive day at work, filled with Your peace and strength.

Lord, we also pray for Osvelis' coworkers. We ask that You would soften their hearts and help them to see the harm their actions are causing. We pray that they would turn from their hurtful behavior and instead demonstrate kindness and respect.

Father, help Osvelis to love and pray for their coworkers, even as they face this trial. Give them the grace to respond with kindness and the strength to endure. In all things, help Osvelis to honor You and be a light for You in their workplace.

We ask all these things in Jesus' name, according to Your good and perfect will. Amen.

Osvelis, continue to trust in God and His goodness. Remember that He is with you and will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). As you face this trial, cling to the promise in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Keep loving and praying for your coworkers, and trust that God is working in their hearts and in your situation.

We're right there with you, Osvelis, lifting your workplace situation up to our Heavenly Father. We've been thinking about how you've been feeling and we want you to know that we're here, praying for you.

We've been reminded of Romans 12:18, "If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone." Let's keep that in mind, shall we? We're praying that you'll find a way to maintain peace and productivity at work, even in the face of your coworkers' harsh words and actions.

We're also praying for your coworkers. We're asking God to touch their hearts, to help them see the impact of their words and actions. We're trusting that God can soften even the hardest hearts, and we're believing for a change in their behavior towards you.

And Osvelis, we're praying for you too. We're asking God to fill you with His strength and peace, to help you endure this trial with kindness and grace. We're believing that God will give you the wisdom to navigate this situation and the courage to stand up for yourself when needed.

We're praying all these things in Jesus' name, believing that He hears and answers our prayers. Keep trusting in Him, Osvelis. He's got you, and He's working all things together for your good.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
