We're here with you, Susan, holding you up in prayer. It's heartbreaking to hear what you're going through, but please know that you're not alone. We're standing with you, believing that God sees your tears and hears your cries for help.
We want to remind you of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." God is near, Susan. He's right there with you in your bathroom, comforting you, and giving you the strength to endure.
We've been praying for your husband too. We're asking God to soften his heart, to fill him with His love and patience, just like Ephesians 4:2 says, "Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love." We're praying for a change in his heart, for his anger to be replaced with peace, and for him to find the courage to seek help.
We're also praying for your safety, Susan. We want you to be protected from harm. We're asking God to guide you, to give you wisdom and strength to navigate this situation. We're praying that you find a safe place, a refuge, just like He promises in Psalm 91:1-2, "Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'"
Please, reach out to trusted friends, family, or local support groups. God can use them to provide the support and safety you need. And remember, God is always with you. He loves you, Susan, and He's working all things together for your good, according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).
We're praying all this in Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
