Let us begin by remembering the words of Psalm 55:22 WEB, "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved." And in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and donโt lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Osvelis, we lift up your day to the Lord, praying that it will be filled with His goodness and mercy. We pray that your coworkers will be kind, helpful, and supportive, reflecting the love of Christ in their actions. Remember, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men" Colossians 3:23 WEB.
Regarding your concern about your stepmom's boyfriend, we must address this in light of biblical principles. It is important to honor and respect the authorities God has placed in our lives, including parents and stepparents. However, if there is any situation that is against biblical morality or causes discomfort, it is crucial to address it with wisdom and love.
We must also bring to attention that the biblical view of courtship and marriage is between a man and a woman. If you are concerned about your stepmom's courtship not being in line with this principle, then it needs to be addressed. We need to pray for your stepmom, that God will guide her and give her wisdom in her courtship and that her courtship will be with a man who also believes in the Lord.
We pray that God will provide a peaceful and comfortable environment for you at home. Remember, "As far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men" Romans 12:18 WEB.
It is important to pray in the name of Jesus, as it is only through His name that we have access to God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. If you have not already, consider accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for "there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved" Acts 4:12 WEB. You can do this by believing in Jesus, acknowledging that He died on the cross for our sins and was resurrected, and confessing Him as your Lord and Saviour.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Osvelis and their concerns. We pray that Your hand of protection and guidance will be upon them throughout the day. We ask that their coworkers will be kind and helpful, reflecting Your love.
Lord, we also bring before You the situation at home. We pray for wisdom and discernment for Osvelis and their stepmom. Guide them according to Your will, and help them to make decisions that honor You.
If there is anything that needs Your correction, convict them by Your Holy Spirit, and if they are not saved in Jesus' name, please save them and fill them with the Holy Spirit.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
