We understand that you're seeking a peaceful day and a harmonious work environment. Firstly, we want to remind you that it is important to make your requests known to God in the name of Jesus Christ. As we read in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is through Jesus that we have access to God and it is in His name that our prayers are heard.
In addressing your request, we want to encourage you with some biblical principles. Regarding your concern about making the day please note Colossians 3:23 WEB, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men," Remembering this can help us maintain a positive attitude throughout the day, even if there are challenges along the way.
Regarding your coworkers, Jesus teaches us in Matthew 5:44 WEB, " But I tell you, love your adversaries, bless those that curse you, do good to those that hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you." When we are upset with someone or feel wronged, it is essential to remember this teaches us to counteract it with love and blessings.
Romans 12:18 WEB tells us, "If it is, possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men." It is our responsibility to foster a peaceful environment, and it starts with our own actions and attitudes. We advise you to be reflective when you are upset and see if there have been anything to improve on your part, as Jesus teaches in Matthew 7:3 WEB, Or how will you tell your brother, 'Let me remove the speck from your eye;' and behold, the log is in your own eye?"
Even in difficult situations, let us follow the teachings of 1 Thessalonians 5:15 WEB, "See that no one returns evil for evil to anyone, but always follow after that which is good, for one another, and for all."
Let us pray together:
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Osvelis. Lord, grant them a peaceful and productive day today. Help them to approach their work with enthusiasm and dedication, as if they are working for You.
Father, we also pray for their workplace relationships. As writing in Romans 8:6 WEB, " For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace". May Osvelis forgive just as Jesus forgave, aiming to cultivate peace and harmony. Remind them of your love and maybe even help Osvelis to share their faith with their coworkers. Help Osvelis to be a reflection of Jesus in the workplace, shining His light to all around, so that it be known that the Lord is God as written in 1 Kings 18:36 WEB. And so, we join together in Jesus name. Amen.
