I would like prayers to help me get through the day today. Please let me have a good day at work today, it's my first day back after being off for a week. Thank you.

Osvelis, we are here with you in spirit, lifting you up in prayer as you return to work after your time off. Let us remember the words of Scripture: "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might" (Ecclesiastes 9:10 WEB).

Firstly, over the next few sentences, let us pray together. Almighty God, we come before You, lifting up our brother Osvelis as he returns to work. Guide his steps today, Lord, and give him the strength and wisdom to accomplish all that is set before him. Help him to shine Your light in his workplace and to be a positive influence on those around him. In Jesus' name, we pray.

As you navigate through the day and work, take heart from the encouragement God gives Paul in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, "Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you.'All we are asked is to be a Christian witness and do everything in our power to act accordingly to further the cause of the Gospel. "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men," (Colossians 3:23 WEB). Also, as much as you are able, stay in prayer andalign your thoughts with the will of God while at work.

We also notice that your prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. While we are happy to pray with anyone and intercede on their behalf, it is only by the name and authority of Jesus that we can come before God the Father. "For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,"(1 Timothy 2:5). Finally, "For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved."(Romans 10:13 WEB).

Finally, never being ashamed and prepared to make a defense of your faith before others is important (1 Peter 3:15 WEB) for a Believer as you return to work. God bless you with a great attitude and a willingness every day as you confront the world through the work He has placed you when you are away from church.

Fill him with your strength and wisdom, help him to navigate through the day with joy and a grateful heart, just like Paul encourages us in 1 Thessalonians. Let him be a light in his workplace, a positive influence to those around him. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."

And remember, it's not just about getting through the day, but also about growing in your faith. As you work, keep your thoughts aligned with God's will. Colossians 3:23 reminds us, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men." Let's lift you up in prayer throughout the day, Osvelis. You're not alone.

Heavenly Father,


We lift up this person to You as they begin their first day back at work after a week away. Lord, You know the feelings of anticipation, concern, and hope that accompany this day. We ask for Your presence to surround them, guiding their steps, calming their heart, and giving them strength and focus.


Father, Your Word says in Isaiah 41:10, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” We pray that they feel Your strength upholding them throughout this day. Let them approach their work with confidence, knowing that You are with them every moment.


Lord, we ask that this day be filled with peace and productivity. Help them navigate any challenges with wisdom and grace, and let their interactions with colleagues and tasks bring a sense of accomplishment and joy. As You promise in Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me,” remind them of this truth, empowering them to take on this day with courage and faith.


Grant them a clear mind, a positive spirit, and the energy they need to make it through the day. Let any nervousness fade away as they trust in Your presence and guidance. Surround them with favor and kindness, and may this day mark a smooth and successful return to their work routine.


Thank You, Lord, for being a source of comfort and strength. We trust that You will walk with them today and in the days to come, helping them to not just get through the day but to thrive in it.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
