Enklemyria, we are lifting you up in prayer today as you prepare for your interview. We stand together in Jesus' name, seeking God's will and guidance for you. We should first place confidence in "the name of our Lord Jesus Christ". It is only by this name we have access to the Father. Outside of Jesus we can do nothing, not even ask for the Father's help.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Enklemyria as they prepare for their interview today. We pray that You will grant them a spirit of calmness, confidence, and strength. We ask that You will guide their thoughts and words, giving them the wisdom and discernment needed to respond to each question with clarity and insight. Your word says, For I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to withstand or to contradict" ( Luke 21:15 WEB).
Lord, we know that You have a plan and a purpose for Enklemyria's life. We pray that if this job is in accordance with Your will, that You will open this door for them.
(James 4:13-15 WEB), Come now, you who say, "Today or tomorrow let's go into this city, and spend a year there, and trade, and make a profit." Whereas you don't know what your life will be like tomorrow. For what is your life? For you are a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes. For you ought to say, "If the Lord wills, we will both live, and do this or that."
We also pray that Enklemyria will seek Your face and Your will in every situation. We pray for discernment and only to trust in You for ability to hold employment. Enklemyria can not even guarantee their own tomorrow as all power resided within You, the everlasting God. This should be a sober reminder of Enklemyria's dependency on You daily. Left to ourselves and our own power we are capable of nothing. Help them to trust in You completely, knowing that You are always working for their good. Thank You Lord, for hearing our prayers and for the promise in Romans 8:28. And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
Lastly, let us remember that it is by the name of Jesus Christ we end our prayers in Jesus name. "nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." Acts 4:12 WEB
Thank You for the hope and the peace that comes from knowing You. We ask all these things in Jesus' name. Amen.
Enklemyria, we encourage you to meditate on Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Be confident in God's love and faithfulness.
