Let us first acknowledge that it is wonderful that you are seeking God's will in this new relationship. It is crucial to involve God in every aspect of our lives, including our relationships. We are instructed in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
However, we must address a few things in your request. First, you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God the Father. As it is in the Bible, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). Knowing Jesus as your savior is possible by believing in his life, death, and resurrection as payment for your sins. "Because if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" (Romans 10:10 WEB).
When you say you want a husband and marriage, you need to ensure that you consider the will of God that any relationship you are looking for should be with a Christian Believer, "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). That does not mean both of you have to be perfect Christians, but both of you need to believe in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and be committed to pursuing a deeper relationship with Him.
Regarding your prayer to know what God wants from you: God wants for you to know Him and live according to His Word. The better you know God and His Word, the more you will understand His will for your life. As it is written, "For whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers" (Romans 8:29 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one who seeks Your will in her new relationship. Lord, we first ask that you reveal Yourself to her in a real and powerful way and help her to know Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. Help her to trust in You with all her heart and lean not on her own understanding (Proverbs 3:5).
Father, we ask that You guide her steps and make her paths straight. Reveal to her Your will for this new relationship, and give her the discernment to know if this man is the husband You have prepared for her. Help her to seek Your kingdom and Your righteousness first, knowing that You will add all things to her (Matthew 6:33).
Lord, we pray that both she and the man she is considering for marriage are believers in Jesus Christ and that their relationship will be centered around You and Your Word, Father. We pray for a Godly marriage that honors You and brings glory to Your name.
Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
