We understand that you're facing a challenging situation at work, Osvelis, and we're here to support you in prayer and counsel.
Firstly, let's address the hurtful behavior you're experiencing. It's important to remember that God calls us to love and forgive those who wrong us. In Ephesians 4:32 (WEB), it's written, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." This doesn't mean you should tolerate their harmful behavior, but rather, forgive them in your heart and pray for them.
However, we also encourage you to set boundaries and stand up for yourself in a respectful manner. In Proverbs 31:8 (WEB), it's written, "Open your mouth for the mute, in the cause of all who are left desolate." This can apply to speaking up for yourself when treated unjustly.
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in Jesus' name, seeking Your divine intervention in Osvelis' workplace. We pray that You would soften the hearts of their coworkers, that any hurtful behavior and food shaming would cease. Grant Osvelis the strength and energy to endure this day, and fill the environment with Your peace that passes all understanding. We also pray that Osvelis would have the wisdom to know how to respond to these challenges in a way that honors You.
Lord Jesus, You promised that in this world we would have troubles, but You also promised that You have overcome the world. We ask that You would be Osvelis' comfort and shield today. Help them to forgive as You have forgiven us, and to speak up for themselves with love and respect.
We also pray that Osvelis would know Your love and peace in a personal way. If they have not already, we pray that they would come to know You as their personal Savior, for it is in Your name that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), 'There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!'
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
