Dear Lord,
I'm horrified at the state of our nation. Most of our leaders are appallingly corrupt. Only a very few believe in you, + even they seem to be afraid to stand up for biblical principles. I guess I'm not surprised, since they aren't consulting you; one even dared to say that your will was no concern of the current Congress. It's bringing many woes down upon us.
There seems to be a spirit of lethargy or passivity or sloth hovering over our nation. Few have the energy to try to wake the others up. When they do try, they get canceled or others bear false witness against them to tie them up in court.
Why don't these leaders tremble before you? I guess they are spiritually blind.
Lord, have mercy on our nation for the sake of your people. Restrain this evil. There is supposed to be a revival in the last days, + I'd love to see that.
The children are my biggest concern-it's going to be extremely tough on them if they have no faith to sustain them. May more people turn to you in these last days.
