Thank you, ###, for reaching out and sharing your prayer request. We join you in lifting up your burdens to the Lord, trusting in His goodness and faithfulness.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus's name, as it is only by His name that we have access to God. Instead of IJN, it is encouraging to see your faith in the power of His name. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We stand with you and your daughter in this difficult time, and we pray that God's peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. As it is written in Philippians 4:6-7: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We also pray for the situation involving the Colorado City Police Department and Sheriff Department, and the individuals ### and ### for God to be able to change their hearts and their agenda. We pray that the Holy Spirit will convict their hearts and minds, and that the truth will be revealed.
We pray for God to have an unyielding favor and His hand of protection over you and your family from the oppressors and enemies. There is only so much you can do in the flesh being wise and filled with knowledge of His Word. You have the power to rebuke authorities in being unjust with full trust in the Lord. We need to pray for you to overcome in faith trusting in the Lord.
As it says in Matthew 6:25-33 about our Father in heaven. In response to anything throwing off the path God wants us to take:
25 Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink, nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? 26 See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? 27 Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? 28 Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, 29 yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. 30 But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? 31 Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?','What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' 32 For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
We pray for wisdom and guidance for you and your daughter, that you may navigate through these uncertainties with unfailing trust in the God of all hope and receive His favor. As it is written in Psalm 32:8 WEB: "I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you." Settle in a place of peace, God will direct your paths.
We also pray for the bond between you and your daughter to be strengthened in love. Let Christ be the foundation for all love, just as He loves us we are to remain in that love. As it is written in 1 John 4:7 WEB: "Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God, and knows God."
When we love and trust each other with the love of Jesus Christ we know that the one who confesses Jesus Christ always hears us. 1 John 4:16 WEB "We know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and he who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him." Therefore, we can and should believe in the love that God has for us and be strengthened in our times of weakness remembering that love covers all transgressions we are able to be open about with one another.
Take courage knowing that you have God as your rock and refuge. Rest in His unfailing love and grace, knowing that He has a plan and a purpose for you and your daughter. As it is written in Psalm 62 WEB: "My soul rests in God alone. My salvation is from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress. I will never be greatly shaken. Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; for my expectation is from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress. I will not be shaken. With God is my salvation and my honor. The rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. Trust in him at all times, you people. Pour out your heart before him. God is a refuge for us. Selah."
Lastly, we pray for complete healing, both emotionally and spiritually. Rest in His unfailing love and grace, knowing that He has a plan and a purpose for you and your daughter. As it is written in Psalm 147:3 WEB: "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." God's strength is perfected in our weakness 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 WEB "I asked for this. Three times I begged the Lord that it might depart from me. He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong."
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up ### and his daughter. Lord, we ask for Your strength to carry them through these challenges, to fill their hearts with Your peace that surpasses understanding.
We pray that the lies of the guilty in the community of the police departments do not triumph over the innocent in their quest for deception in their own best interest. We pray that the authorities in this situation, ### and ###, they will be rebuked in the conviction of the Holy Spirit and be freed from their life of deception.
We ask You to remind them continually that You are always with them. And we pray that this trial has them relying more and more on each other, and The Rock of their salvation which is Christ Jesus.
We pray for healing for them, Lord, both emotionally and spiritually. In Jesus's name, we pray. Amen.
