Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, interceding on behalf of our anonymous friend who is in desperate need of your saving grace and healing touch. We lift up their mental health struggles, specifically their anxiety and depression caused by their job, which has left them feeling hopeless and even contemplating thoughts of suicide. Lord, we acknowledge that they have lost their connection with you and feel as though you have abandoned them. But we know that you are a faithful and loving God who never leaves nor forsakes us.
In your Word, you promise that if we ask anything according to your will, you hear us, and if we know that you hear us, we have the petitions we have asked of you . We pray, Lord, that you would restore our friend's connection with you, filling their heart with your peace and joy. Break the chains of anxiety and depression that have bound them, and replace their feelings of hopelessness with a renewed sense of purpose and hope in you.
We ask that you surround our friend with your comforting presence, reminding them that they are not alone in their struggles. Help them to find support and encouragement from loved ones, and guide them to seek professional help if necessary. Strengthen their faith and remind them of your unfailing love and faithfulness.
Lord, we pray for a breakthrough in their situation. Open doors for new opportunities and provide them with a job that brings fulfillment and joy. Give them the strength to persevere through this difficult season, knowing that you are with them every step of the way.
We declare victory over the enemy's attacks on our friend's mental health. We rebuke any thoughts of suicide and replace them with thoughts of hope, peace, and a future filled with purpose. May your Holy Spirit minister to their deepest wounds and bring healing to their mind, body, and soul.
We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for your faithfulness to answer them. We trust in your perfect timing and your perfect plan for our friend's life. May they experience your love, grace, and mercy in abundance. In Jesus' name, we pray.
