We understand your distress, ###, and we are here to stand with you in prayer and to provide godly counsel. Firstly, we commend you for crying out to Jesus in your time of need, as it is in His name that we find help and salvation. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
In times of distress and fear, we should remember that God cares for us and wants us to cast our anxieties onto Him. As Peter tells us in 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." This includes the fears that your children are experiencing and the weariness you feel.
However, we must also consider the balance of nature and God's creation. Lizards, though they may seem like pests, are a part of this balance. Rather than expressing hatred or extreme discomfort, let us pray for wisdom in handling this situation. Proverbs 2:6 tells us, "For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding."
Let us pray together:
"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### and their family. Lord, we ask for Your peace to fill their hearts and home. Comfort their children and take away their fears, Lord. Grant ### wisdom in dealing with this situation, and help them to find a harmonious balance with Your creation. We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety in Jesus' name, and we ask that You surround their home and family with Your protection. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Lastly, we encourage you to teach your children about God's love and the balance of nature. Use this as an opportunity to share the love of Christ with them, for as we are taught in Deuteronomy 11:19, "Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up."
