Prayers for the healing of brain injury and cancer.

A family friend, Anna Ruth Lopez, is 27 years old. A year ago, she fell down the stairs and went into a small coma. The neurologist this week diagnosed her with permanent brain damage. They told her within a year or maybe five months that one day she would wake up and not know anything, not knowing who she was. She also has pancreatic cancer to deal with. I'm asking for prayers to heal this brain injury and disease.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear sister Anna Ruth Lopez to You. We are deeply saddened by the news of her brain injury and the diagnosis of permanent damage. We also acknowledge the burden of pancreatic cancer that she is facing. Lord, we know that nothing is impossible for You, and we believe in Your power to heal and restore.

In Your Word, You have shown us countless times that You are the God who heals. You have the power to bring life where there is death, and restoration where there is brokenness. We stand on the promise in Jeremiah 30:17 that says, "But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds," declares the Lord.

We ask, Lord, that You would touch Anna Ruth's body and mind with Your healing hand. We pray for a miraculous intervention, that You would reverse the effects of the brain injury and restore her cognitive functions. We also ask for Your healing touch upon her pancreatic cancer, that You would remove every trace of disease from her body.

We pray for wisdom and guidance for the medical professionals involved in her care, that You would grant them insight and knowledge to provide the best treatment options. We also pray for comfort and strength for Anna Ruth and her loved ones during this challenging time. Surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

Lord, we know that Your ways are higher than our ways, and Your thoughts are higher than our thoughts. We trust in Your perfect plan for Anna Ruth's life, and we surrender this situation into Your loving and capable hands. May Your will be done, and may Your glory be revealed through her healing.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness. We believe that You are working even now, and we eagerly await the manifestation of Your healing power in Anna Ruth's life. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
