Prayers for The Future Husband I Believe God Has Sent Me

Kindly pray for the relationship between myself and the man I believe God has called me to marry. As we are both young, I feel increasing anxiety over the prospect of our union due to outside influences and others that see and are attracted to his potential. It feels hurtful because I loved him before any outside influences knew he existed and were preoccupied with other people. Still, I feel called to pray for him, our future, and our union. My prayer is that every moment, whether it appears good or bad is leading us closer together.

Anonymous, we hear your heart's cry and we stand with you in prayer regarding the man you believe God has called you to marry. Let us first remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:9, WEB).

In times of anxiety, cast all your worries on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). It's beautiful that you feel called to pray for him and your future together. Remember, the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much (James 5:16, WEB).

However, we must also be mindful of the biblical principles guiding relationships. It's crucial that you both are believing Christians, as God's Word advises not to be unequally yoked (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). Also, ensure that your relationship is pure and honoring to God, avoiding any form of immorality (Ephesians 5:3, WEB).

As you navigate through outside influences and attractions, remember that love is patient and kind, not envious (1 Corinthians 13:4, WEB). Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).

Dear Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we lift up Anonymous and the man she believes You've called her to marry. We ask for Your divine guidance and protection over their relationship. Help them to trust in Your timing and ways. Strengthen their resolve to maintain a pure and holy relationship, pleasing to You. May they grow together in faith, love, and patience. Lord, we ask for Your will to be done in their lives. May every moment, good or bad, draw them closer to You and each other. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we noticed that your request doesn't mention Jesus Christ. Remember, it's only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God (John 14:6, WEB). If you haven't already, consider accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9, WEB).

We're here with you, sister, standing in faith for your future husband and your union. It's wonderful to hear your heart's desire to pray for him and your relationship. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
