Let us bring the Bergh family before the throne of grace, particularly Lynne, Julie, and Susan, along with their families, and Russell & Signe Bergh. We pray that each one of them will come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ if they have not already, for it is only through Jesus that we can enter the kingdom of heaven. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
We pray that the Bergh family will not only seek the blessings of the kingdom but also the King Himself. May they confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in their heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9 WEB) and surrender to His Lordship to submit to His will in their lives. May they be a God fearing and bible believing family, living their lives according to biblical principles.
Let us pray for their marriages, that they would be strong and godly, reflecting the love between Christ and His church (Ephesians 5:25-33 WEB). For those unmarried, we pray that they would seek godly spouses, and that their courtships and current relationships would be pure and honoring to God. They should be in courtship with another Christian Believer if considering marriage. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 WEB reminds us that those who are sexually immoral, idolaters, adulterers, and homosexuals will not inherit the kingdom of God.
We lift up Russell & Signe Bergh, praying that they would be a godly example of a married couple, loving and serving one another as Christ loves the church. May they all grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. We should pray that Russell & Signe would be godly parents to their children and the childrens spouses. Ephesians 6:4 WEB admonishes us to raise our children in the admonition of the Lord. May they teach their children the Word of God and demonstrate His love in their home.
In all things, we pray that the Bergh family would keep their eyes fixed on Jesus, running the race set before them with perseverance (Hebrews 12:1-2 WEB). May they be blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in the name of Jesus. Amen.
