Dear Mirathen, we are truly moved by your request and we are with you in spirit, lifting you up in prayer during this challenging time.
Firstly, we want to remind you of God's love and care for you, as reflected in Isaiah 43:2, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; and the flame will not consume you." Even in the midst of your trials, God is with you.
We pray, in the name of Jesus Christ, that the Lord will indeed be kind to you, that He will grant you strength and comfort as you face this terminal disease. We pray for His healing touch upon your body, that if it is His will, He would heal you from the kidney problems, high blood pressure, gastric issues, appendices, and even the HIV. We know that nothing is impossible with God, as we are reminded in Mark 9:23, "All things are possible for him who believes."
We also lift up the hands of your healers, the medical professionals caring for you. May God grant them wisdom, skill, and compassion as they treat you. May their efforts be blessed and guided by the Great Physician, Jesus Christ.
However, we want to encourage you to also seek spiritual healing and strengthening. It is only in the name of Jesus that we can approach God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ, confessing your sins and believing in His death and resurrection for your salvation.
Lastly, we want to leave you with this encouraging scripture from Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that even in this trial, God can work it out for your good.
We are praying for you, Mirathen, in Jesus' name. Amen.
