We are grateful for the opportunity to stand with you in prayer and to offer biblical encouragement. We notice that Jesus was not mentioned, and we want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As scripture tells us, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB.
Firstly, we want to address the notion of success and happiness. often the world's definition of success is based on material wealth and status, but the Bible tells us that true success is found in knowing and serving God. "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." Matthew 6:33 WEB. Happiness is often fleeting and based on circumstances, but joy in the Lord is eternal and unchanging. "A thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly." John 10:10 WEB.
We encourage you to pursue a job that aligns with God's will for your life. It is wonderful that you desire fulfillment in your work, and we pray that God will guide you to a position that uses the gifts and talents He has given you for His glory. "Commit your work to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established." Proverbs 16:3 WEB.
Regarding debt, it might be encouraging to know that the word of God emphasizes the importance of managing finances responsibly and it does not teach getting out of debt by winning the lottery or other ways by chance. There is no luck or chance in the Bible. Christ taught us hard winning work. "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone will not work, neither let him eat." 2 Thessalonians 3:10. This should be considered when working and praying to stay out of debt that you should never have been in, like purchasing new items and sending payments over time without being charged any interest. You must consider the choices before you make purchases. In regards to debt that can be repaid, the Bible specifically says "The wicked borrow, and do not pay back, but the righteous give generously." Psalm 37:21 WEB. When it seems impossible, "Jesus, looking at them, said, 'With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.'" Matthew 19:26 WEB.
As you seek your purpose in life, we encourage you to look to God and His Word, the Bible. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 WEB You were uniquely created by God for a specific purpose: "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them." Ephesians 2:10 WEB.
So, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, asking for Your guidance and blessing upon this individual and their family. Help them to find true success and happiness in You and You alone. Guide them to the job that You have prepared for them, that they may find fulfillment and purpose in their work. Give them the wisdom to manage their finances according to Your will, and provide for their needs as they seek to live debt-free.
Reveal Your purpose for their life, Lord, and give them the courage and strength to walk in it. May they come to know Jesus in a personal way as their savior Jesus Christ, the author and perfecter of our faith.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
Living together unmarried is fornication, a sin against God. For the sake of your soul and eternal life, we rebuke you to stop this or marry immediately. It is the second most serious sin in the Bible. Lastly, "And be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." Romans 12:2 WEB. That means for you to seek a spouse not a partner, and to stop sinning with possible fornication.
