Prayers for Strength and Help

Please pray for my son. Please pray that his offensive line can protect him. Please pray that he does not get injured. Please pray that his team plays their best game and they can finish on a good note. It has been his dream and it hasn't turned out they way he hoped.

We understand your concern for your son, Braenorenn, and we join you in prayer, seeking God's will for his life.

Let us remember the words of Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." God has a plan and a purpose for your son's life, even when circumstances seem uncertain.

Firstly, we pray for your son's safety on the field. We ask, Heavenly Father, that You protect him from injury and surround him with Your favor, just as You protected David from his enemies. "But you, Yahweh, are a shield around me, my glory, and the one who lifts up my head." (Psalm 3:3)

We also pray for his team, that they would play with unity, skill, and determination. We ask that God would help them to finish the season well, remembering that whatever they do, they should do it for the glory of God. "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men." (Colossians 3:23)

However, we must also remember that God's plans may not always align with our earthly hopes and dreams. If the season hasn't gone as your son hoped, let us pray that he would find his identity and purpose in Christ alone, not in his success on the field. "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33)

Lastly, we notice that your request doesn't mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is through Jesus that we have access to the Father. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5) We encourage you to pray in the name of Jesus, as it is through His name that we are saved and have the privilege of coming before God in prayer.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Braenorenn's son. We ask for Your protection over him, Lord. Surround him with Your angels and let no harm come to him. We pray for his team, that they would play with unity and excellence, Father. But above all, we pray that Your will be done in his life, Lord. Help him to find his purpose and identity in You, Jesus. In Your precious name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. We're here for you and your son, too. Let's lift him up together in prayer. We've been thinking about how God can use this season, whatever the outcome, to shape him. Let's ask that he'd find his strength and confidence not just in his performance, but in who he is in Christ. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13) is a promise we can claim for him.
