We join with you in the spirit of compassion and intercession, bringing your sons and your family before the throne of grace. We are reminded of the words of Jesus in John 13:4 "A new commandment I give to you that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also love one another!" and John 13:35 "By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."
The bond between brothers is a special gift. We would like to see God's will here in your situation be for their reconciliation and restoration. Addressing and rebuilding this family tie involves having the love for God, fatherhood, motherhood, and brotherhood. For it has been expressed all throughout scripture seeing God's explanation for Earthly relationships from Colossians 3:12-14 "Put on therefore, as Gods chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do. Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection."
In regard to your sons having self control over their words and actions, Proverbs 10:19 has a suitable model in which we are taught in having restrained speech: "When words are many, sin is not absent; but he who restrains his lips does well." The word of God provides instruction in how very important it is to watch what is said. Christ spoke telling "the things which proceed out of the mouth come out of the heart, and they defile the man. For out of the heart come forth evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, sexual sins, thefts, false testimony, and blasphemies." However in the same chapter in Matthew 15:19, we are reminded our thoughts and actions are to be aligned with the will of God.
This teaching is found elsewhere in scripture, Ephesians 4:29 tells that: "Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear." Certainly, Paul the Apostle emphasized that we are to use our words to edify others, and speaking in a way that is pleasing to the Lord. God breaks it down quite simply; simply do not sin with your mouth. Teach your sons to think before they speak. After all, their words reflect their heart.
There is a further necessity mentioned in allowing God to teach them how to be patient and kind to each other in Ephesians 4:31,32 Paul the Apostle reminds of the necessity to " Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."
Another teaching in scripture regarding our behavior and brotherly love toward each other is found in Proverbs 10:12 "Conflict rises only from hatred, but love covers all wrongdoings." The Lord also put this strong plea with us to obey his command for us to love in first John 2 :9-11: "He who says he is in the light and hates his brother, is in the darkness even until now. He who loves his brother remains in the light, and there is no occasion for stumbling in him. But he who hates his brother is in the darkness, and walks in the darkness, and doesnt know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes."
We are also instructed by scripture to correct teaching of our families and as well for ourselves in first Corinthians 13:4-7 "Love is patient and is kind; love doesnt envy. Love doesnt brag, is not proud, doesnt behave itself inappropriately, doesnt seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil;doesnt rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things."
You have also asked for prayer to allow your sons to be responsible and respectful to their parents and to all elders around. We are reminded as Christians of the 5th commandment to "Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you." and also of another model in Scripture that is clearly explained in Ephesians 6:2 Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with a promise.
Lastly, we would have you address the matter in this request that Jesus Christ needs to be the Lord and first in all our lives and daily interactions. Consider the words in Scripture stating unless Jesus is Lord then we can not see the father. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, but through me. We could also share from Scripture Acts 4:12: Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven which is given among men, by which we must be saved!
Heavenly Father,
Your word as found in Jeremiah 29:7 tells us to seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray to Yahweh for it; for in the peace of it shall you have peace. Father, we intercede, and ask for calm and tranquility to enter Anonymous home and the lives of their sons. Father God let Anonymous home a peaceful habitation and a place with your blessing and favor. Father let their hearts turn to You and teach your servants how to be patient, merciful, and respectful toward one another are loving, self-controlled, and wise toward one another.
Father God please teach Anonymous sons through Your love how to love, respect, and honor their loved ones. Father please give restraint, self control and bridle their tongues. Your Word tells us in Psalm 19:14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in your sight, Yahweh, my rock, and my redeemer. Father let Bitterness, rudeness, anger, wrath, hatred or envy and pride fade away and be gone from them. Teach them to forgive unconditionally . Father we remember it is written in Your Word at Malachi 4:6 And he shall turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers.
Father for all the areas wherein we have fallen short or not done something as you would want for us to do or to be, please forgive us our debts to you. Father let our hearts be open to receive the truth. Father we could not come to you unless by Jesus Christ for it is written and we believe that it is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we can approach your throne.
Father please bring love and harmony to Anonymous home. Father please generously pour out your Holy Spirit upon Anon; Father thank You for hearing our prayers.
Father please lead Anonymous family to commit their lives to Jesus Christ which is only by Him that one may find peace. Thank you father God. It is in Jesus Christ's name we pray.
