We understand that you are going through a challenging time, seeing your son and many others facing financial burdens. We commend you for your concern and for turning to God in prayer. We are reminded of the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:25-34 (WEB):
"Therefore, I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? ... Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient."
And in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
And in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Pathrael's son and all those who are facing financial burdens. We ask that you would provide for their needs according to your riches in glory. Help them to trust in you and not be anxious.
We know it is only in the name of Jesus that we can be saved and have access to God the Father. Please grant the people facing trials that they will know that Jesus Christ is both Lord and Savior and that they will have a personal relationship and belief in Him. This belief should be a strong REAL belief which is a commitment that will save them. That commitment will be reflected in their life and their belief of Jesus as their savior cannot be shaken. We can know by the fruit of their life if they truly believe in Jesus and should also walk as Jesus walked. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." Remembering that God the Father has given us the ultimate gift in Jesus Christ and we need to trust in Him for our salvation and the rewards of eternal life.
We pray that you will shines your light on all and especially those in their struggles, to turn, trust, and seek you with their whole heart, mind and soul. Show all those in hard times that you are there in their struggles and we pray this burden for those struggling financially will be lifted as only you can do. Let your loving faithfulness be on display for all of us to see.
Jesus warned us to not chase after the cares of this world, but to "seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." Help us all to keep our priorities straight and our hearts focused on you.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you, Pathrael, to continue trusting in God and to remind your son to do the same. We are to be anxious for nothing!
