We are lifting up your son in prayer, believing that God has a purpose and plan for his life. We pray that your son will come into praying in the name of Jesus Christ if he does not already do so. It is important to know that God hears our prayers because of Jesus. Jesus said in John WEB 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." We also know in Acts WEB 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved of God for his salvation."
We pray that your son will realize his full potential and that God's power and strength will guide him and give him strength. We pray for your son to realize his full potential is only possible when he puts his faith in Jesus Christ.
We stand on the promise of Philippians WEB 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." We pray that your son will put his faith in Jesus Christ and he will be strengthened and grow in confidence.
We pray for wisdom and discernment for your son to understand that a degree is a good goal, but he should also align his ambitions with God's will. We know in Proverbs WEB 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
We pray for guidance and focus for your son in his studies, and for God to open the doors of opportunity for him. We pray for your son to be a witness to his classmates and professors of the power of Jesus Christ in our lives.
Lastly, we pray for you, the parent, to stay strong in faith and continue praying for your son. We pray for your strength, and that God will help you guide and support your son in his journey, helping him to keep his eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. May God guide your son to call upon the name of Jesus for his prayers and for all his life.
