We join with you, MKG, in lifting up your daughter and son before the throne of grace, confident that God hears the prayers of His children.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus, as it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
For your daughter, we pray that the Holy Spirit would indeed grant her insight, understanding, peace, and wisdom as she takes her Statistics final. We ask God to help her excel, not just for the grade, but for a true comprehension of the subject matter. Remember, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." James 1:5 WEB.
We also pray for her to trust in God's mercy and grace, especially during stressful times. Let her be reminded of God's promise in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
For your son, we thank God for the grace and favor shown to him at his new job. We pray that God would give him insight and wisdom beyond his years and experience, so that he may continue to find favor with his colleagues and superiors. We ask God to help him excel in his work and be a light in his workplace. Let him be encouraged by the words of Colossians 3:23-24 WEB:"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."
You MKG, keep trusting God. It does not go unnoticed that you are going to Jesus with requests for your children. That is exactly what He wants parents to do. I am again reminded of Matthew 7:11 WEB "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!"
Finally, we pray for you, MKG, that God would give you the strength, wisdom, and patience to support and guide your children as they navigate through their academic and professional journeys. We can be confident that in the long run everything will work together for good of those who love God, in Romans 8:28 WEB.
We can not wait to hear how God answers your requests for your daughter and son, and that Jesus is glorified in their lives.
