Prayers for shorter routes at work or a new job opportunity

Hello once again I'm here asking for prayer about my job. My boss has been having me drive so much lately and it's really frustrating and expensive for me. I've drove over ### miles just today alone. I understand that driving is a part of my schedule but it's been very excessive. Please pray for my boss to give me much shorter routes or maybe that I can find a better paying job that requires me to drive to and from work only. I love my job but it's too demanding on my vehicle. Suggestions and prayers would be much appreciated! In Jesus name Amen

We understand your frustration and are here to support you in prayer and advice. Firstly, we commend you for coming in Jesus' name, as it is only by His name that we have access to God. All power is given unto Jesus in heaven and in earth. Let's bring your situation before Him.

Let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is feeling overwhelmed by the excessive driving required in their job. We ask, Lord, that You would move on their boss's heart to assign shorter routes, or open up a new job opportunity that meets their needs better.

Father God, You are the provider of all good things.

Matthew 7:11 WEB If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him.

2 Corinthians 9:8 WEB God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.

Guide our friend through this season of life, reveal Your will to them.

Psalms 32:8 WEB I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go: I will counsel you with my eye on you.

We pray for their peace and patience.

James 1:3-4 WEB knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

We also pray for their witness, but to God first. That this time is used to grow closer to the Lord.

James 4:8 WEB Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

In addition to prayer, we advise you to have an open and respectful conversation with your boss about how the extensive driving is affecting you and your vehicle. Share your concerns calmly and professionally, and request that they consider adjusting your routes or workload.

Lastly, trust in God's timing and provision. He knows your needs and has a plan for you.

Lord Jesus, we come to You today, asking for Your intervention in our friend's job situation. We know that You care about every aspect of our lives, including our work. We ask that You would soften the heart of their boss, giving them wisdom to adjust the routes or even open up new opportunities that align better with our friend's needs. We trust that You are working behind the scenes, even in the details of their daily commute.

We also pray for peace and patience for our friend. We know that waiting on the Lord can be tough, but we trust that You are faithful and will work everything out for their good. We ask that this time would be used to draw them closer to You, Lord.
