We understand that you're struggling with a short temper, anger, and anxiety due to the pain and diseases you're experiencing. We appreciate that you've come to Father God in Heaven with your struggles and that you desire to handle your emotions in a more godly manner. It's crucial to remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We will pray alongside you for forgiveness, healing, and spiritual growth.
Firstly, let's address the anger and short temper. Ephesians 4:26-27 WEB reminds us, "'Be angry, and don't sin.' Don't let the sun go down on your wrath, neither give place to the devil." It's important to acknowledge your feelings, but it's equally important to express them in a way that doesn't cause harm to others or yourself. Unresolved anger can lead to bitterness and give the devil a foothold in your life.
Regarding anxiety, Philippians 4:6-7 WEB tells us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Instead of allowing anxiety to overwhelm you, turn to God in prayer, and He will grant you a peace that transcends human understanding.
Lastly, concerning your physical suffering, remember that even in your pain, God can use it for good. Romans 8:28 WEB says, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Also, consider the example of Job, who remained faithful despite his suffering. His story shows us that sometimes suffering is part of our journey, but God can use it to draw us closer to Him.
Let's pray:
Father God, we come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in need of Your healing touch. We pray for their physical healing, that You would ease their pain and grant them relief from their diseases. We also ask for Your help in managing their emotions, that they would express their anger in a way that doesn't cause harm, and that they would turn to You with their anxiety instead of being overwhelmed.
Forgive them for any sins they've committed, as they've asked, and help them to walk closely with You, growing in their understanding of Your ways. We ask for Your forgiveness if they have not always done this in Jesus name. In Jesus' name, we pray for healing, forgiveness, and a deeper understanding of Your will. Grant them the strength to endure their trials with grace and faith. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
