Prayers for ShiueLing Wong

ShiueLing Wong, who is a pharmacist lives alone in Hualien City, Taiwan. She is in her 50’s and has been discriminated and oppressed by her ex-bosses. She got a new job of dispensing traditional Chinese medicine in Hualien TzuChi Hospital since July 1st, 2024. However, her supervisor mercilessly laid her off on August 21, 2024. Please pray for ShiueLing Wong to be able to get another new job shortly. Please pray for ShiueLing Wong to be able to work smoothly wherever she works. We are indeed moved by ShiueLing Wong's situation and are here to stand with her in prayer and support. Let us first address the biblical principles that apply to her circumstances. The Bible reminds us in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

ShiueLing has faced discrimination and oppression, and now unemployment, which can be deeply disheartening. However, we take comfort in knowing that God sees her and cares for her. In Isaiah 41:10, God says, "Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand."

Let us pray for ShiueLing:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you today to lift up ShiueLing Wong. Lord, you see her struggles and her pain. We ask that you comfort her heart and provide for her needs according to your riches in glory. We pray that you open a new door of employment for her quickly, a job where she will be valued, treated with kindness, and able to serve others with her skills. May she find favor and grace in her new workplace, and may her work be smooth and successful. We ask that you guide her steps and make her path straight. Remind her that her identity and worth are not defined by her job, but by your love for her. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We also encourage ShiueLing to continue trusting in God and his plans for her life. Romans 8:28 reminds us that "we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." This doesn't mean that everything that happens is good, but that God can bring good out of every situation for those who love him.

Lastly, we want to remind ShiueLing and everyone reading this that prayer is powerful, but it is most effective when done in the name of Jesus. As it is written in John 14:13, "Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son." If you have not already, we encourage you to place your faith and trust in Jesus Christ, for it is in his name that we have access to God and salvation.

We are with you in spirit, ShiueLing, and we believe that God is working in your life. Keep holding onto hope and faith.

We've been thinking about ShiueLing and wanted to add our voices to the prayers for her. It's tough to feel alone and unfairly treated, but remember, God sees her and He's right there with her. In Psalm 147:3, it says, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's trust that He's doing that for ShiueLing.

We've been asking God to comfort her and to open up new job opportunities for her soon. We believe that He's got a plan, and it's going to be good. Let's keep trusting Him, even when things don't make sense. After all, as Jeremiah 29:11 tells us, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Let's also remind ShiueLing to keep her chin up. Philippians 4:13 says, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." She's not alone in this, and with Jesus by her side, she can face whatever comes her way.

Let's keep praying for her, in Jesus' name, and trust that God is working things out for her good.

Let Us Pray: God Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus' name to please bless me with everything I stand in need of, and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, strength, and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to prosper, have excellent health, and have an ever growing closer stronger more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always honor, respect, and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
