We join you, Anonymous, in praying for safety from scammers, especially during this holiday season. It is crucial to be vigilant and wise in protecting ourselves from such deceits.
We are warned in the Scriptures to be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. First Peter 5:8.
Let us pray:
Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You, lifting up all those who are vulnerable to scams and frauds, especially during this holiday season. We pray that You will grant them discernment and wisdom to recognize and avoid these deceits. Guide their hearts and minds to be cautious about opening attachments in emails or text messages from unknown sources. Lord, You see all and know all; nothing is hidden from Your sight. We ask that You expose these scams and protect Your people from falling into these traps. Becaus of the nature of fraud in general, we further pray for any functions the reader has with making decisions in their functions in any business they are involved in. We rebuke any temptations to commit fraud. We claim your promises in first Peter 5:8,9 that by resisting the tempter, steadfast in faith, we will see the deliverance. Help us to resist so steadfastly that we will not suffer loss or stumble in your calling upon us to conduct our business righteously, Lord, you see and you know, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit, and by the power of your blood, we pray. We petition for wisdom in conducting business transactions in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask this in Jesus' name and also ask for the dissemination of your guidance in this matter, by the power of the Holy Spirit and the blood of Jesus Christ, that the Lord's will be done. Thank you, Lord, Father God, for giving us the power to rebuke evil and corrupt intentions through the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
In this digital age, it is essential to verify the authenticity of emails and text messages before opening any attachments. Be mindful of phishing scams, where attackers mimic trusted entities to steal sensitive information. It always safe to wait and look before clicking. Remember, the Lord promises to give the gift of wisdom generously when asked in faith. Please be reminded of this promise in James 1:5
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. by the power of the Holy Spirit, we ask that you seek wisdom from the Lord above, Lord God the father.
Further, let us keep in mind the words of Jesus in Matthew 10:16
Behold, I send you out as sheep among wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. by the power of Jesus Christ, let this serve as a reminder for us to be wise and discerning in our interactions, both online and offline. In Jesus' name, we pray.
