Let's come together in prayer for M., who is feeling anxious about her upcoming flight. First, we remind her that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB) God is sovereign over all things, including the weather and her travels. Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today lifting up M. to Your throne of grace. Lord, You know her fears and anxieties about tomorrow's flight. We ask for Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7 WEB)
Lord, You control the winds and the waves, and we trust that You will provide safe travels for M. We pray that you would remind M. of that tomorrow. (Mark 4:39 WEB)
We pray for Your angels to encamp around her, to protect and guide her throughout her journey. (Psalm 91:11 WEB) We ask for Your grace to calm her nerves and fill her with a sense of tranquility and courage.
Lord, we also pray for the pilots and crew, that You would give them wisdom and skill to navigate the aircraft safely to its destination. We pray against any turbulence or adverse conditions, and ask for Your grace over the weather.
Finally, Lord, we pray for M.'s faith to be strengthened through this experience, that she may trust in You more deeply. We ask this all in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who conquered the grave and rose again that we might have life eternal with Him. It is only by His name that we can approach you. For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. (Romans 10:13, WEB )
M., remember that God is with you always, even in the skies. Trust in His goodness and sovereignty. Be sure to also call on the name of Jesus Christ and have faith in Him so that you may be saved. We are praying for your safe journey and for God's peace to be with you.
