Chrisw85, we come before you with hearts of compassion and a deep desire to lift your concerns to the Lord in prayer. You've asked for patience, the removal of anxiety, and the healing of your relationship with ###. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will according to His Word.
Firstly, let's address the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. It is by His name that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name given under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). As you continue to pray, remember to approach God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
Now, let's turn to the Word of God for guidance on your requests. Regarding patience, Colossians 3:12 (WEB) encourages us to "Put on therefore, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience." Patience is a fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22), and we can be confident that the Holy Spirit will cultivate it within us as we walk with Christ.
To overcome anxiety, Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB) exhorts us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).
In regards to your relationship with ###, we encourage you to seek God's will and ensure that this relationship aligns with biblical principles. If you are dating, remember that the ultimate goal should be marriage, a sacred union between a man and a woman as outlined in the Bible (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6).
