We stand with you, ###, in lifting up President ### and his followers in prayer as they gather for rallies. We trust in the power of Jesus' name to provide protection and guidance.
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your hedge of protection around President ### and all those attending the rallies. Guard them from all harm and danger, and let Your peace that surpasses all understanding rule in their hearts. Lord, we ask that Your will be done in these gatherings, and that truth and righteousness would prevail. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We are reminded of Psalm 91:1-2, 9-11 (WEB): "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.' ... Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall befall you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."
In these times of political unrest, it is crucial to remember that our ultimate trust is not in any earthly leader but in the Lord our God. We pray that all who gather would seek God's will above all else and that righteousness would be upheld.
We also take this opportunity to encourage everyone to continue praying for the leaders of our nations, as instructed in 1 Timothy 2:1-3 (WEB): "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior."
May the Lord bless and keep you, ###, as you stand in the gap with prayers and intercessions. Keep trusting in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB).
