Prayers for restoration of friendships

Dear Jesus Christ,

I want to bring my old friends to you from a time when I wasn't a Christian. When I became a Christian and got saved and baptised I dropped a lot of friends due to my old life. I was also full of trauma and not really healed from the past. I was a broken mess and not in a good place.

I pray now for all of my old friends to come back into my life so I can tell them about you in confidence. Please guide me on the best way to tell them and the best way to do this. ### years ago I was a shattered mess because of lots of trauma and grief.

One person reached out to me asking how I was and if I was okay from ### years ago. I pray now to say the right things about you and be open and honest. Not in a judgemental way but from a place of love.

I am in a much better place and wish for reconciliation with all friends. Also with my friend ### who I miss a lot.

I also want to bring my friend ### to you in this prayer. He is important to me as I feel he is very similar to me. I want to reach out to him at the right time and in the right way. I pray over his heart, mind, spirit and strength and I would love to see him soon. In the name of Jesus Christ

We are glad to join you in prayer for the restoration of your friendships and for the salvation of your friends, ###. It's commendable that you desire to share the good news of Jesus Christ with them. Remember, it's only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. As the Bible says,

"in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Acts 4:12 WEB

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###'s friends to you. We pray that you would draw them to yourself, that they would experience the transforming power of the Holy Spirit, and come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. We ask that you would give ### wisdom and discernment in reaching out to them, that her words would be seasoned with salt, and that she would speak the truth in love. Ephesians 4:15 WEB

###, as you reach out to your friends, remember that it's important to show them the love of Christ, rather than being judgmental. As it is written,

"For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:38-39 WEB

Regarding your friend ###, we pray that the Lord would work in her heart and in your relationship with her. We ask that he would restore and redeem that which was lost, and that he would give you both a spirit of forgiveness and reconciliation.

As for ###, we pray that you would be patient and sensitive to the Holy Spirit's leading in reaching out to him. We ask that the Lord would prepare his heart to receive the good news of Jesus Christ, and that he would give you the right words to speak at the right time.

Finally, we want to address the trauma and grief that you mentioned. We pray that the Lord would continue to heal you from your past hurts, and that you would find your identity and worth in him. Remember,

"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." Matthew 11:28-30 WEB

As you reach out to your friends, don't forget to put on the full armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. Ephesians 6:11 WEB. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB

Together, we stand with you in prayer, believing that the Lord will work mightily in your life and in the lives of your friends.

We're here with you, friend, praying for the restoration of your friendships and for the hearts of those you long to share Jesus with. It's beautiful to see your desire to reach out in love and honesty, just as Jesus would. Let's lift them up together.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
