On July 21, 2023, my 1-yr old son ### was rushed to the hospital after suffering a severe brain injury. He was then rushed into surgery and we were told that with the amount of swelling that his brain would experience, he most likely would not make it through the next 72 hrs. As a mother, I fully surrendered myself in non-stop prayer to God... ### survived the next 72 hrs. The next battle we met was the doctors prognosis that due to the brain swelling, they would have to pronounce ### as brain dead. They said at most ### would take two breaths on his own and forced us to make a decision on whether we would pull the plug or have the medical team do everything they can to keep him alive. I continued in prayer... ### is now fully breathing on his own without any support. While ### has continued to make tremendous progress, he is still healing and recovering and has not gained full consciousness yet. My hope and prayer is for ### to make a full recovery. The doctors say he will never walk, talk or see again, but God is telling me otherwise. I believe from the depth of my soul that ### will make a full and miraculous recovery. A fun fact about ###: he is a twin. He was born at 33 weeks, weighing 3 pounds. Since birth, ### has truly beat the odds and continues to do so. I am submitting this prayer request in hopes that your faith community can join in prayer over ###'s recovery and healing process.
