Prayers for ###, please continue praying for my son ###, he is still having severe ocd behavior, he can't take a shower or change his clothes, only eats certain foods at certain times, etc. He is on medication, has been for ### months now, we really didn't want to do that but really had no choice, it was so severe. He says he feels about ###% better, but yet still does all the ocd things, does anyone know how long it takes? One of the biggest things I just don't understand is why after so much pouring our hearts out to God, begging God, pleading with God to please help us!!! I feel like God has completely abandoned us. I always believed that when something really bad thing was happening, that I could 100% just come to him and he would help, but I just feel abandoned and really questioning my faith in God. I don't understand also why God would allow ### to not even be mentally able to read the bible? He used to read the bible or watch sermons on his phone literally every waking minute and now he can't do any of it, is it the devil causing this? Can a Christian, and I hate to say it, be possessed? That's the only thing I can kinda compare his change to, he's a different person completely, no matter how exhausted I am, he still makes me do things for him and that was never ###, he was very loving and caring and now he acts like he only cares about himself, I'm guessing that's the ocd, but it's so hurtful. Please pray for us, Thank you

Dear Heavenly Father,

In the name of Jesus, we come before you on behalf of ### and their son ###. We lift up ### to you, Lord, and ask for your healing touch upon his severe OCD behavior. We pray that you would bring relief and restoration to his mind and emotions. We thank you for the medication that he is currently taking, and we ask that you would guide the doctors and medical professionals in his treatment.

Lord, we understand the frustration and confusion that ### is experiencing. We ask for your comfort and peace to surround them during this challenging time. Help them to trust in your perfect timing and plan for ###'s healing. Remind them that you are with them, even in the midst of their doubts and questions.

Father, we pray for a renewed sense of faith and hope in ###'s heart. Strengthen their belief in your unfailing love and faithfulness. Remind them that you are a God who hears and answers prayers, even when it may seem like you are silent. Your ways are higher than our ways, and we trust in your wisdom and sovereignty.

Lord, we ask for your protection over ###'s mind and spirit. Guard him from any influence of the enemy and bring him back to a place of peace and joy in your presence. We pray that you would restore his ability to read the Bible and engage in spiritual activities that bring him closer to you.

Lastly, we lift up ### and their family to you, Lord. Grant them strength, patience, and wisdom as they support ### through this journey. Surround them with a community of believers who can offer encouragement and support. May your peace that surpasses all understanding fill their hearts and minds.

We thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. We trust in your perfect timing and believe that you are working all things together for good. In Jesus' name, we pray.

Thank you so much, if he is healed of this in 7 days that would truly be a miracle straight from God! He's been dealing with this for almost 6 months now, we are a Christian family and literally the day before all this started happening, he said a prayer to God to be broken. The day before that he was talking to his sister and said don't ever say a prayer to be broken, then the next day he did, and he said he don't even know why he did it. I'm not so much blaming God, I just don't understand why he's allowing it and not helping him. When I make that statement to ###, he says no mom God is helping, he has amazing faith through all of this, I just wish I could feel God's comfort. I pray so much for that miracle, please God.
