Church leaders who actively share the gospel and speak out against corruption and violence are often targeted by guerillas and other criminal groups. Pray for protection for those facing threats of violence and for courage to continue sharing Jesus no matter the cost.

Pastor Perea leads 10 congregations along the Atrato River in Choco, a region where many paramilitary groups are active. Ask God to protect and strengthen Perea, his family and his church community as they follow Jesus in this challenging environment.

Thank you so much for joining in prayer for our persecuted brethren as the Bible tells us too in Hebrews 13.3 and other verses. May the Most High reward you for your faithfulness.

Remind me when I forget to greet each day with a heart of thanksgiving unto You for who You are, all You have done, and will do in my life. Help me, show me how, and bless me to have a stronger more intimate relationship with You and fulfill my God-Purpose. God encamp Your angels all around me to cover and protect me from all sickness, evil, hurt, harm, danger, accidents, the plans of my enemies, and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God deal with my enemies according to Your Word. God all that I have asked of You in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of this prayer and all those I care about.
