Prayers for Peace and a Healthy Baby

My husband and I recently dealt with infant loss as a result of me getting pre-eclampsia and having to deliver at 23 weeks + 6 days pregnant. Our baby girl passed away a day later. We have always wanted to be parents and are having a hard time navigating this loss and are having difficulty trusting in the Lord these days. Please pray for us to feel His peace and find trust in Him again. Please also pray for us that one day I may be able to have a healthy, problem free pregnancy and give birth to a healthy child of our own to bring home with us.

We are truly sorry to hear about the loss of your precious baby girl, and we want you to know that you are not alone in this difficult time. We are here to pray with you and to offer biblical encouragement and support.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. As it says in Psalm 34:18, The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.

In times like these, it is normal to feel a range of emotions, including anger, sadness, and even doubt in God's goodness. But we encourage you to pour out your hearts to God, knowing that He cares for you and understands your pain. As it says in 1 Peter 5:7, Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.

Regarding your desire to have a healthy pregnancy and baby, we pray that God will grant you this desire of your heart. We know that children are a gift from God, and we trust that He has a plan for your family. As it says in Psalm 127:3, Behold, children are a heritage of the Lord. The fruit of the womb is his reward.

We also want to encourage you to trust in God's sovereignty and goodness, even in the midst of this trial. As it says in Romans 8:28, We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up this couple who are mourning the loss of their baby girl. We ask that You would comfort them in their sorrow and surround them with Your peace that passes all understanding. Help them to cast their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them deeply.

Lord, we also ask that You would grant them the desire of their heart to have a healthy pregnancy and baby. We trust that You have a plan for their family and that You are working all things together for their good.

Finally, Lord, we pray that this couple would trust in You again, knowing that You are good and sovereign, even in the midst of this trial. Help them to rest in Your promises and to find hope in You.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we noticed that there was not a mention of Jesus in your prayer request. This is essential to answers to prayer and salvation. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and are saved. To those who believe in Jesus, they are given the right to become children of God even when they were not before. The most important aspect of salvation is the salvation from our sins. It is believing in Jesus Christ as the Son of God who lived a sinless life among men and sacrificing himself as a perfect sacrifice to pay for all of our sins. Believing this and committing your lives to following Jesus Christ and obeying His commandments is essential to the Christian faith. We strongly encourage you to begin reading in the New Testament of the WEB Bible and reading and praying about Jesus Christ and the salvation that only He can give.
