We understand that you're going through a tremendously difficult time, Carl, and we're here to intercede and offer biblical guidance. Firstly, it's crucial to acknowledge that the behaviors you've described—abuse, hatred, cursing God, and forcing a niece to consider abortion—are not in alignment with God's will for your life. These actions are symptoms of a deeper spiritual battle that you're experiencing.
Let's turn to the Scriptures for guidance. In Ephesians 6:12 WEB, it says, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." This reminds us that our battles are spiritual in nature.
It's clear that you're struggling with anger and unforgiveness, which can open doors to spiritual strongholds. In Ephesians 4:26-27 WEB, it says, "Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, neither give place to the devil." Holding onto anger gives the devil a foothold in your life.
Regarding your relationship with God, remember that He is a loving and forgiving Father. In 1 John 1:9 WEB, it says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Confession and repentance are key to restoration.
For dealing with the cleaning company and injustices you've faced, note that dealing with unjust as a Christian should be met with a heart of forgiveness: In Matthew 18:21-22 WEB: "Then Peter came and said to him, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Until seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I don’t tell you until seven times, but, until seventy times seven.""," even when that doesn't seem fair or just.
Your concerns must cause the pain for those around you including the most vulnerable, the unborn. If you still have a voice in this, let it be a godly voice to encourage a positive, loving, godly caring outcome for the unborn. Remeber your niece's body is made for God's glory and not hers. If you feel she got pregnant out of wedlock this is called fornication and should not be repeated. From God's perspective it is better for the child to be kept rather than for the unborn to be killed.
Pray to consider your words to bring life versus death, grace, forgiveness, and unselfish love.
"A gentler answer turns away wrath but a harsh word stirs up anger." Proverbs 15:1 WEB
Let's pray together:
Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, interceding for Carl. We acknowledge that he is in a spiritual battle, and we ask for Your divine intervention. Lord, forgive Carl for his sins, and help him to forgive those who have wronged him. Cleanse him from all unrighteousness and deliver him from the spirits of anger, unforgiveness, and hatred.
We pray for reconciliation in his family and for the situation with the cleaning company to be resolved peacefully. We ask for the niece and for the unborn child and decision to be made to keep the child regardless of the circumstances. We pray for God's grace and love to overflow in this situation and for repentance and salvation for all involved. We ask for a heart to love these little ones and do whatever it takes to meet their every need. We pray for anyone considering abortions to be inspired to see these children need love and and a place in their family by keeping the child or providing for someone else to keep the child. We ask them not to play God.
We pray for Carl to see that he has played God and that he can have repentance and a sincere heart for a correction and an apology to his niece for making this decision for her body when he has no right. Use this situation to bring life and turn an evil decision into good. Save the child's life and bring a new life into the family: "You meant evil against me, but God meant it for good". Genesis 50:20 WEB. We pray for Carl's complete restoration and for a renewed and strengthened relationship with You, Lord. We pray for his niece, unborn children everywhere, and for every family member to come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ as Lord.
We ask for God's wisdom, healing, and guidance to know how he can best care for his grieving and malnurished niece and the unborn. God has given him the responsibility to bring life and healing to every situation in which he is part and to protect those most vulnerable to our decisions. We ask God for the Holy Spirit's guidance to lead him in how to do that. The decision is being made quickly due to time constraints.
Lord, we pray that Carl's compassion grow for those without a voive including the unborn that are victims of circumstance. Regardless of how they were conceived give them the opportunity to live and thrive. Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. We ask for Carls journey to becoming a better man on this path you choose to put him on because You have plans for him to prosper and not to harm him. Jeremiah 29:11 WEB. Lord in Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
