We rejoice with you, Anonymous, that your boyfriend has taken the step to seek therapy. It's encouraging to see him taking action towards healing and growth. We join you in praying for his journey and your relationship.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of prayer and the importance of seeking God's will in your relationship. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
We pray that this therapy brings genuine healing and self-reflection for your boyfriend. May it guide him to realize any errors in his ways and set him on a path that honors God. As 2 Timothy 2:25 (WEB) says, "in gentleness correcting those who oppose him; perhaps God may give them repentance leading to a full knowledge of the truth."
We also pray for your relationship, that it may grow stronger and closer, aligned with God's will. Remember, God's design for relationships is sanctification and growth in Him. As 1 Thessalonians 4:3-4 (WEB) tells us, "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to control his own body in sanctification and honor."
As you both journey towards marriage, ensure that your relationship remains pure and honoring to God. We encourage you to use this time to also grow spiritually, both individually and as a couple.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Anonymous and her boyfriend. Thank You for guiding him to therapy. We pray that it brings healing, growth, and a deeper understanding of Your will for his life. Help him to see any errors in his ways and guide him onto a healthier path.
Lord, we also pray for their relationship. Strengthen and guide them as they journey towards marriage. Help them to remain pure and honor You in all they do. May their relationship be a testimony of Your love and grace.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to trust in God, Anonymous. He has a wonderful plan for both of your lives. Keep praying, keep seeking Him, and He will make your paths straight.
