Prayers for obsession

Please pray that I will be free from obsession with men

We understand your struggle and are here to support you in prayer and truth. The Bible tells us to take every thought captive to obey Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5, WEB), and this includes persistent thoughts or obsessions that are not in line with God's will.

First, let's address the root of the issue. Obsession with men can be a sign of an unhealthy focus on relationships, possibly even lust, which the Bible warns against (Matthew 5:28, WEB). It's crucial to realign your thoughts and desires with God's plan for relationships. Remember, God commands us to flee from sexual immorality and to honor one another with proper conduct (1 Corinthians 6:18, 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5, WEB).

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up our sister who is struggling with obsession. Help her to fix her eyes on You and to take every thought captive to obey Christ. Give her the strength to flee from anything that does not honor You. Fill her heart with Your love and peace. Guide her to develop godly relationships that align with Your will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We also encourage you to memorize and meditate on Scripture that speaks about the renewing of the mind, such as Romans 12:2 (WEB): "Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."

Lastly, if your request did not include the name of Jesus Christ, we want to remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to God (John 14:6, WEB). If you have not already, consider committing your life to Jesus Christ, trusting in His death and resurrection for your salvation.

Remember, God's love for you is unconditional, and He's always ready to help you prune those unwanted thoughts (1 Peter 5:7, WEB).

Let's pray: "Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You in Jesus' name. We lift up our sister, who's struggling with obsessions. Help her to focus on Your love, to take every thought captive, and to grow in godly desires. Fill her with Your Spirit, so she can walk in freedom and love (Galatians 5:1, WEB). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to spend time in God's presence, meditating on His love for you, as found in Psalm 36:7 (WEB): "How precious is Your steadfast love, O God! The children of mankind take refuge in the shadow of Your wings."

And remember, dear one, you're never alone. God is always with you, and so are we, supporting you in prayer. Let's keep growing together in His love.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
