Prayers for next door neighbors

Hello. I'm just asking for prayers for my next door neighbors. I understand that people have the right to smoke marijuana and other smoke products. I'm having a difficult time enjoying my evenings without the neighbors smoking weed every day it seems like. I don't want to be a nuisance or a bother, but it's getting to the point where I don't understand why they can't smoke outside instead of the garage attached to the shared wall. I don't say anything. I'm asking for prayers that God helps guide me to be patient and figure out a way to ignore the smell, but also prayer for the neighbors to understand that they are being inconsiderate of my space and time. Thank you.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear friend Duskvan and their prayer request concerning their next door neighbors. Lord, we acknowledge that everyone has the freedom to make choices, but we also recognize the impact those choices can have on others. We ask for your guidance and wisdom in this situation.

Father, we pray that you would grant Duskvan patience and understanding as they navigate this challenge. Help them to find peace and tranquility in their evenings, despite the presence of the strong smell of marijuana. Give them the strength to endure and the ability to focus on the things that bring them joy and peace.

Lord, we also lift up the neighbors in prayer. We ask that you would touch their hearts and help them to see the impact their actions are having on those around them. Soften their hearts and grant them the understanding to consider the well-being of their neighbors. May they find alternative ways to enjoy their smoke products that do not infringe upon the peace and comfort of others.

We are reminded of Psalm 145:18, which says, "The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth." We pray that you would draw near to Duskvan and their neighbors, bringing understanding, empathy, and a resolution to this situation.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

I will pray for you and your situation. You are not being a nuisance or a bother at all by confronting your neighbors. I support you, and I think you should definitely talk to them and ask them to stop smoking or smoke somewhere else. As a big fan of reading outside under the stars, I understand how constantly smelling smoke must be so frustrating! Also, smoke is horrible for your lungs and can cause many problems, so your neighbors should listen to you and grant your request. I am sorry that you are having to deal with this, and I hope that God will put it in your neighbors hearts to stop smoking! I pray that God will give you wisdom, patience, courage, and boldness. May he guide you as you decide what to do on this matter.

My friend had similar issue & we learned 2 things. 1) First, pray for them - then, gently approach them & simply explain about your breathing issues & any other concerns (most people are unaware/in their own worlds and, if they knew, would help).

2) If no luck with #1 AND it's a condo or community run by an association, get support from them. ... and, as you are, KEEP PRAYING♡...

3) You may be the only Christian they meet. You may be a light to them. You don't need weed and obviously have a gentle, loving, patient spirit in Christ♡!
