We rejoice with you, Moltem, as you seek God's blessings for this new family. Let's begin by remembering the words of Psalm 127:3-5, "Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows in the hand of a mighty man, so are the children of youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them. They will not be disappointed when they speak with their enemies in the gate."
Firstly, we notice that the prayer request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The Bible states in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Also there is no other name which you can be saved according to Acts 4:12., "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, whereby we must be saved." Therefore, we will pray this in Jesus' name.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up J, C, and baby J. We thank You for the precious gift of life and the blessing of this new family. Lord, we ask that You wrap Your loving arms around them, guiding them according to Your perfect will.
Father, we pray for clarity, forgiveness, and understanding for J and C. Help them to forgive each other as you forgive us. Help them to seek You wholeheartedly, desiring Your plan for their lives and the life of their son. Grant them the wisdom and discernment to raise their child in Your likeness, that he may grow in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Please help them to pursue a godly marriage, a lifelong commitment that honors You as in Proverbs 18:22, "Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh." We pray that their fellowship with each other would be a holy reflection of Jesus Christ as in Malachi 2:15, "Did he not make you one with a purpose, leaving you a remnant of the Spirit? And why one? He seeks a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let no one deal treacherously against the wife of his youth."
Guide J and C according to Romans 12:2, "Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." Remind them that the role of father and mother is ordained by You. Father God show J and C the sign that they have prayed for as You align their steps with Your will. With the guidance of the Holy Spirit, provision from God and the sacrifices of the parents, baby J can be raised in the fear and admonition of You.
Father in heaven, we come in your name Jesus Christ which is the only way to come to You. We are Your sheep and You are our Shepard, we can be heard and saved with no other name. Lord show Yourself and his love to this couple. Do to the hearts of both J and C.
We ask this in Jesus Christ name. We ask and pray this in the name of Jesus, believing that You will work mightily in their lives. Show them Your unconditional love and unceasing presence.
Amen Moltem. May God comfort and encourage. May the Holy Spirit uplift. May the baby grow strong in God. May J and C share love, convection and purpose of seeking God to sanctify their loving relationship with one another and to receive the strength and joy of being parent. May God receive the ultimate Glory. As it says In Psalm 84:11, "For Jehovah God is a sun and a shield; Yah will give grace and glory. He will withhold no good thing from those who walk blamelessly." Amen, again.
