We are grateful for your faith and hope in God during this time. We commend you for taking your boyfriend's health to the Lord in prayer as we seek God's will together in Jesus' name.
Firstly, let us address the elephant in the room. You mentioned you are praying for your boyfriend. Biblical principles teach us to pursue relationships that align with God's will and design for us. Please understand that we are not saying this to be hurtful but to follow God's design for our lives. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB, "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"
We will pray for God's peace for you both, and wisdom for the medical team. We also pray that God grants the doctors and nurses skill, and guidance from the Holy Spirit. We pray for a successful procedure, and a full recovery.
Dear Jesus, we lift up this man to You, asking for Your healing touch and peace during his colonoscopy procedure. Guide the doctors and nurses, giving them wisdom and skill. We pray for this woman and her boyfriend. Amen.
While we pray for his health, we also pray for both of your souls. We are using a verse from the WEB. Romans 10:9 WEB, "because, if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:13 WEB, "For, 'Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" This means both of you need to call on Jesus, and believe on Jesus, and believe on Jesus, to be saved. Only then can you two consider your relationship to be courtship rather than dating to be holy and pursue marriage.
Jesus said in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Just as John 14:13 WEB says, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son." We can only ask the Father in Jesus' name.
Let us also pray for the courtship of you and your boyfriend, that you both save yourselves for each other until marriage, and that your relationship glorifies God. Let us remember Ephesians 5:3 WEB, "But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints;"
It is our prayer that both you and your boyfriend to be are Christians who are pursuing a Godly marriage where you honor each other, and more importantly honor God.
