I would like prayers for my brother to stop having his attacks; he has severe mental illness and won’t stop screaming. My dad’s passing was very difficult on him, and he occasionally is having many attacks. Jesus Christ, please heal his mental illness and remove dark magic from him. We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles your brother is facing, and we are here to intercede and provide biblical guidance.

First, the Bible tells us that healing and deliverance have already been purchased for us by the blood of Jesus Christ. As it is written in Isaiah 53:5 *But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed*. This means Jesus Christ has already done his part.

The case of your brother seems to be having both mental and spiritual issues. We know that mental illness is not just a physical condition that requires medical treatment but is also a spiritual issue. We need to pray for healing and deliverance for your brother.

The Bible tells us in James 5:14-15 *Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.*

We also need to bind and rebuke the spirit of death and torment that is causing your brother to scream. We also need to remember to only pray in the name of Jesus as it is written in Acts 4:12 *There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.*

Let us pray.

Almighty God, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking your divine intervention in the life of this brother. We pray that you touch his mind, heal his mental illness, and grant him peace. We cast out every evil spirit attacking him and declare his deliverance in Jesus' name. We also pray that you comfort him in this trying time as he mourns the passing of his father. Help him to accept the reality of his father's death and move on with his life. Do not let the enemy use this situation to torment him anymore. We declare total healing and deliverance for him in Jesus' name. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you to continue praying for your brother and also seek professional help for his mental illness. God can use doctors and medicine to bring healing just as He can do supernaturally. Do not relent in your prayers and have faith that God is working in his life.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
