We are truly sorry to hear about your brother's condition and we are here to support you in prayer and truth. Mental illness is a real and serious issue, and we trust that God's power is able to heal and restore.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18 WEB). We are also reminded in the Bible of Jesus' power and compassion towards those who suffer from illness, "When it was evening, they brought to him many who were possessed by demons. He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick" (Matthew 8:16 WEB). There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Therefore, Jesus is the name we pray through.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our ### who suffers from mental illness. We ask for Your healing touch upon his mind and body. Restore his reality, judgment, and memory Lord. Give him the strength and courage to face each day, and provide comfort and peace to his family during this challenging time. Guide the doctors and healthcare providers with wisdom and discernment as they care for him. In Jesus' name, we rebuke any spiritual attacks or influences contributing to his condition. We declare that no weapon formed against him will prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). We ask that You, Lord, will give him a heart that is willing to accept You and the healing You have for him.
Lord, we also pray for his family. Strengthen them with Your love and grace, enabling them to support and care for him effectively. In Jesus Christ name, Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying fervently for your ### and trust in God's unfailing love and power. Remember that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB).
Lastly, we gently remind you that it is essential to pray in the name of Jesus, as it is through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16 WEB). If you have not already, consider accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for it is through Him that we find eternal life and salvation (John 3:16 WEB).
Stand firm in faith, and may God's peace and grace be with you and your ###.
